The Time for a Deal
Tuesday 2 February, 2010Praise God today for ruling and reigning on high and in the kingdoms of men as Daniel 4:17,25, 32 says. It’s by God’s hand and by His wisdom that our politicians are able to do what is right in the sight of God and man, bringing creative solutions to our nation’s particular needs.
The scripture says, “Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it:” (Psalm 127:1). As hard as our politicians work (and they do work!), the scripture says without the favour and blessing of God it could all crumble like a house made of cards or one built on the sand. God gives the power to create agreements that will last and fulfil the needs of all of the people of Northern Ireland for many years to come.
Prov 2:6 says, “For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.” (KJV)
Let’s give God thanks today His wisdom is bringing agreement between the major parties and all our MLAs in Stormont. Thank God that He intervenes (involves Himself with us) and that He rules and reigns in the kingdoms of men! Make sure you give Him the glory today!
